Photoshop Techniques.
Photoshop is an effective way of creating either basic or difficult techniques to add techniques to your work and there are so many things that we are enabled to do that it is possible to link to any topic of theme. For my theme 'Paranormal' i decided to do smoke trail, fire experiments, composite images, levitation and faded images.
Photoshop is a very technical programme and requires skill and training to be able to produce high quality work. As this is my first unit in A Level photography, I have only just learnt how to do the techniques.

Cyanotype.
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that gives a cyan blue print. The process is well known in the engineering business as blueprints, used often because it is simple and low cost which enabled them to produce large scale copies of their work.

Composite Images.
A composite image is a photograph made up by a combination of multiple images, the image is based on the same person in different positions severals time, therefore, they appear to be ghost like and show the different places they had to be to construct a routine of their past.
My composite image is of my model doing exercise, i moved her around and into different positions so she didn't overlap and it shows the representation of what she had done in the past and what she had moved on to doing to complete her routine.
Macro.
Macro photography is extreme close up photography, usually of very small subjects in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size.
I didn't think the first attempt turned out to well so I decided to use flash & I prefer this shot.
Macro Shots.
This is my first attempt at macro shot, I decided to use a flower because I thought it would look nice.
Depth of Field.
Depth of field is the amount of distance between the nearest and farthest objects that appear in acceptably sharp focus in a photograph. A lens can focus at only one distance at a time, the decrease in sharpness is gradual on each side of the focused distance, so that within the depth of field, the unsharpness is imperceptible under normal viewing conditions.
The smaller the depth of field the more effective it can be, emphasizing the subject while de-emphasizing the foreground and background create a contrasted image,

For this depth of field i tried to keep the back ground in focus but I think it could be improved because it still seems a bit blurry. I would also add a middle ground to make more interest for the eye.
